We are pleased to inform you that our cyber fraud education and awareness training module, developed in association with Barclays Digital Wings, is now live. As part of Barclays’ drive to increase cyber fraud education and awareness among our clients, we strongly encourage all users of our Digital Channels to complete the training to help prevent against cyber-crime and fraud.
The module contains useful information and tips to protect yourself, with the use of real-life case studies seen across the industry. Users should visit the module periodically as it will be updated from time to time when new threats emerge, new tips to stay safe and new solutions Barclays offer to help prevent and detect fraud and suspicious activity.
Barclays offer both the Barclays Biometric Reader (BBR) and Barclays ‘Sign What You See’ (SWYS) PIN pad reader for use on our Digital Channels.
For clients using sole transaction approval, we only offer the Barclays ‘Sign What You See’ (SWYS) PIN pad reader option. Its ‘Sign What You See’ (SWYS) activity screen provides an additional layer of verification, acting as a 'four eyes check' for the sole admin / approver.
For clients on minimum dual transaction approval, clients have a choice between the BBR or Barclays ‘Sign What You See’ (SWYS) PIN pad reader as they already have minimum 'four eyes check' among their users.
