Hi, I'm Mike Kempton-Smith, Regional Business Development Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Both Scotland and Northern Ireland have strong histories of innovation which continue today. Traditional sectors like manufacturing and food and drink are still important and are added to by the likes of energy, health sciences and tech. Scotland's exports are their diverse with the food and drink sector leading the way along with professional services and energy. The scotch whisky sector of course being particularly valuable.
