Asset Based Lending - Midlands

David Lett, ABL Manager, Midlands:

Trading on an open account basis is mainly beneficial for the buyer not only cash flow wise but also cost wise. In terms of the seller it is often a much riskier solution, everybody invested a lot of cash into their raw materials and into the labour to produce the goods in the first place. Trading on an open account basis delays the inflow of cash by another couple of months.
