Barclays supplier finance general security

Barclays places the security and confidentiality of your internet banking activities at the top of our agenda. We have put a number of measures in place to ensure that you can conduct your business activities over the internet safely and securely. Security Components

To access Barclays Supplier Finance you need two things:

1. Personal Identification Number (PIN): this is unique to each user
2. Safeword card: this will generate a dynamic password

Encryption

Barclays Supplier Finance uses extended Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate to encrypt traffic between the client browser and the server over the internet, providing a high level of security. The Safeword card used for access also provides multi-factor authentication for enhanced security.

Internal Controls

You can specify the entitlement for each user of the system (view only or transacting user) and the level of control you want for each user. This includes a maker/checker function. There is also a complete audit trail of activity.
