In his current role as Head of ESHLA Coverage, Fraser leads the UK Education Social Housing and Local Authority Team. The team consists of 20 Relationship Directors and Relationship Support Managers located across the UK.
In addition, Fraser operates as Sector Head for the Local Authority Sector across Barclays Corporate Banking. In 2014, he led Barclays Corporate Banking’s local authority strategy in response to the Co-Op Bank’s decision to exit the sector. He has since overseen the successful migration of around 55 local authority clients across to us. Barclays has significantly increased its market share of local authority banking mandates in recent years and continues to work closely with many of the largest councils in the UK.
Fraser joined the Bank in 1984 and has over 30 years’ experience in Barclays where he has held various roles across Corporate, Retail and Operations.
He has an MBA (with distinction) from Warwick Business School.
