Tom was appointed Head of the Oil & Gas Team for Corporate Banking with effect January 2016. As an institution, Barclays remain fully committed to the Oil & Gas industry, with our continued support to our clients and the Upstream, Oil Field Services & Midstream subsectors being demonstrated and managed through Tom’s leadership.
Tom is based in London and has responsibility for Barclays’ corporate banking clients right across the Oil & Gas industry. The team is located across both Aberdeen & London offices. As a member of the Barclays Oil & Gas team for 6 years, Tom’s new role will see him managing the external stakeholder dialogue for the industry, and leading the team as we continue to support the sector and our clients through challenging times, providing Debt, Trade & Working Capital facilities, Cash & Liquidity management solutions as well as Risk Solutions.
Tom covers the Oil and Gas portfolio within the International Corporates Natural Resources Team. Working closely alongside our Investment Banking Division, Tom supports our International Oil & Gas clients with products and services from our global businesses such as cash management, trade finance, working capital lending, debt finance and liquidity structures across the bank’s multiple geographies, particularly Asia, the US and Europe.
Tom has over 14 years Banking experience and joined the International Corporates Team in 2009 where he has since covered the US, European and UK regions across multiple industries including our FTSE 100 client base and Oil & Gas Portfolio.
