Wyatt Crowell
Managing Director, Global Head of Multi-National Corporates and Head of UK & Ireland Client Coverage
Wyatt Crowell joined Barclays in June 2008. Previously Wyatt was with JP Morgan for 14 years, most recently as a Managing Director, primarily based in New York as a senior member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Wyatt also spent three years in Dallas, Texas, leading a team that delivered banking products to JP Morgan's Corporate Banking clients in the region.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and an MBA with Honours from Columbia University.
Ian Stuart
Managing Director, Head of UK and Ireland Client Coverage
Ian joined Barclays in April 2007. Shortly after becoming Managing Director of Barclays Asset & Sales Finance (BA&SF), he became Managing Director of UK and Ireland Client Coverage in June 2009.
Ian has worked in the Banking industry for 33 years, having previously worked at RBS for 21 years. Ian was appointed as a Director of Barclays Bank Ireland PLC in October 2010.
Graham Buckland
Managing Director, Head of London
After 31 years with Barclays, Graham has a wealth of corporate finance experience. He is currently responsible for our corporate clients across London and heads up eight dedicated industry teams. Prior to this, Graham was Managing Director and Head of UK Corporate Finance, where he worked with a broad portfolio of FTSE 100 clients.
Graham has a law degree from Leicester University.
Adrian Doran
Director, Corporate Banking, Northern Ireland
Adrian originally trained as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC), spending time in the firm’s Corporate Finance division before moving to Bank of Ireland in 1996 where he was responsible for managing a wide portfolio of the bank’s corporate banking clients.
Adrian joined Barclays in 2000 with a remit to grow the bank’s corporate banking business in Northern Ireland. Since then Barclays has led a number of the largest corporate banking transactions in the province, and the bank’s presence has grown to include relationships with over 20 of Northern Ireland’s top 50 companies as well as the establishment of our successful wealth management business.
David Farrow
Managing Director, Eastern
David joined Barclays in 1990 and has worked across various areas of the bank including Retail, Business and Corporate Banking.
He has been Managing Director for the Eastern region for the last four years and now leads a team of Relationship Directors across eight locations focusing on various industry sectors from manufacturing and technology to restaurants, law firms and agribusiness.
Jane Galvin
Managing Director, London
Jane Galvin is Managing Director and Head of London Mid-Corporate Banking. Jane has held a variety of roles at Barclays for over 25 years within both the retail and corporate environment. She possesses a wealth of banking experience and has led senior teams through challenging times. Jane is focused on shaping the future growth of the key mid-corporate banking market in London and additionally has responsibility for the wider UK strategy. Prior to this role, Jane was Head of Professional Services for Corporate Banking and led a team of Directors in the UK and US, working in partnership with firms to support their global strategies.
Jane is a regular speaker at events on a variety of topics from Law firm financing to women on boards.
Andrew Hastings
CEO, Barclays Bank Ireland PLC
Andrew joined the banking industry at RBS before moving to BNP Paribas in 1996. He was both Country Head and Chief Executive of BNP Paribas Ireland until 2011 when he joined Barclays as CEO of our Irish bank.
Andrew is also President of The Institute of Bankers in Ireland, a recognised college of University College, Dublin, and a leading professional educational body for those working in banking and financial services across the country.
Gavin Isle
Managing Director, Southern and South West
Gavin has been Managing Director for the Southern Region since July 2010, working with our Relationship Directors across the area. He previously worked in a number of Corporate Banking roles, including developing strategy for the Technology and Telecoms sector team.
Over a 4 year period Barclays reputation in these sectors grew and Gavin broadened his remit to incorporate the Media sector too.
Ray O’Donoghue
Managing Director, Midlands and Wales
Ray joined Barclays in 1980, initially working in the Midlands before moving to the London, Spain, Gibraltar and Shrewsbury offices.
He returned to the Midlands in 1998 to set up the Corporate Banking Team and became the regional Managing Director in 2008, prior to which Ray led our specialist Manufacturing sector team.
Ally Scott
Managing Director, Scotland
Ally has over 25 years’ banking experience, joining Barclays from RBS in 2005. After setting up our highly-successful Structured Finance Team, Ally was appointed Managing Director of Corporate Banking in Scotland and has since seen his team go from strength to strength.
Ally is a respected figure within the Scottish banking industry and was named ‘Dealmaker of the Year’ in 2007.
Tony Walsh
Managing Director, Northern
Tony has been with Barclays for over 29 years, working in risk management, portfolio planning, operations management, sales management and strategy planning across the UK, before going back to his roots in the North.
He has been Managing Director for the Northern region since 2008 and now leads a team of Relationship Directors and product specialists covering Yorkshire, the North East and the North West, supporting the growth aspirations of businesses across the region.
Christophe Angely
Head of Corporate Banking France, Italy and Germany
Christophe began his career with Alstom for 2 years in South Korea and then moved to banking, first with BNP and later with Paribas where he headed the French syndicate and origination desks for 5 years.
In 1996, he joined Deutsche Bank to develop its French Debt Capital Markets before moving to Investment Banking at Barclays in 2001. After his departure in 2007, Christophe returned to Barclays in 2010 to be part of the new Corporate Banking European challenge.
Shazad Dada
Chief Executive Barclays Bank, Pakistan
Shazad has overall responsibility for managing all business operations in the region including Corporate Banking and Retail. Shazad commenced his career with Barclays Bank Pakistan in October 2010.
He started his banking career in the USA, joining Bankers Trust in 1990, which was later acquired in 1999 by Deutsche Bank AG, before becoming Chief Country Officer and Head of Global Banking Deutsche Bank. Prior to taking up his role with Barclays, Shazad was a Managing Director in the Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Advisory Group at Deutsche Bank Securities.
John Gachora
Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking, Africa
John joined Absa Capital, Barclays affiliate in South Africa, in 2009 from Bank of America where he was Managing Director and Head of Structuring within the Global Structured Products division.
With over 15 years of experience, he has worked at Credit Suisse First Boston as Head of Structuring and was Chief Executive for Absa Africa. In his current role he is responsible for setting the strategy and leading the execution of all Wholesale Banking activities across Barclays significant African presence.
John holds a Masters of Business Administration from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Masters in Engineering and Bachelor of Science from MIT.
Andrew Jones
Managing Director, Co-Head of Global Finance & Risk Solutions and Head of Syndicate for Asia Pacific
Andrew is currently based in Singapore. Before relocating to Asia, Andrew was Head of Credit Syndicate for Europe & Asia Pacific, based in London. He was responsible for primary market execution for Corporate, Financial Institution, ABS, High Yield & Emerging Market bond issues from 2007 to 2009. From 2004 to 2007, Andrew was located in Hong Kong as Head of Syndicate for the Asia Pacific region. Andrew joined Barclays from Credit Suisse First Boston in 2000, where responsibilities included short-term credit trading, euro-commercial paper, medium-term and structured notes.
Andrew graduated from University College Cardiff in 1992 with an Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Mathematics & Zoology.
Rezwan Mirza
Head of Corporate Banking, UAE & GCC
Rezwan is responsible for the corporate banking business in the Gulf region and previously held senior positions including Head of Corporate Coverage, Head of Debt Finance and a Director position in the Investment Bank of Barclays.
Before joining Barclays, Rezwan was an Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division at UBS in New York. Rezwan started his career with Ernst & Young in Houston and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Rezwan has a B.A. in Economics and a Masters in Accounting from Rice University, Houston and a MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
Temi Ofong
Head of Corporate Banking, Absa Capital
Temi started his current role in August 2011. In this role, he is responsible for the design and implementation of corporate strategy across Coverage and Product.
Temi is a member of the Absa Capital Executive Committee. Temi has held a number of positions at Absa Capital, including Head of Foreign Exchange and Commodity Sales and Structuring, Head of Equity Derivative Sales and Structuring and Head of Sales in Absa Capital’s Financial Institutions Group.
Prior to joining Barclays, Temi was the Managing Director of Peregrine Financial Solutions in Johannesburg.
Nyagaka Ongeri
Managing Director, Head of North America Multinational Corporates
Nyagaka joined Barclays in 2011 from Absa Capital, where he was Head of Global Finance and Risk Solutions, managing all of the bank’s financing products.
During his tenure in South Africa, he co-founded the Student Sponsorship Program, a non-profit leadership organisation that has raised over $9m since 2000 to support South African high school students. His current role is focused on building the US business, providing Corporate Banking products and services to subsidiaries of Multinational Corporates across the globe.
Nyagaka has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from Howard University, is a graduate of Harvard Business School and has successfully completed the CFA examinations.
Pedro Santaella
Chief Executive Corporate, Investment Banking and Wealth Management, Spain and Portugal, Head of Corporate Banking, Continental Europe
Pedro is the Chief Executive of Corporate Banking and the Wealth Management division (CIB&WM) of Barclays for Spain and Portugal.
In addition, he is responsible for Corporate businesses in Continental Europe (Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany and Netherlands).
Pedro is a Board Member of Barclays Bank S.A., the Spanish Retail Banking subsidiary. He joined Barclays in 1999 from Bankers Trust where he had been Managing Director and Head of Debt Finance and Sales for Southern Europe.
John Vitalo
Chief Executive Officer, Middle East and North Africa
John joined Barclays in 2002 from Credit Suisse First Boston in New York, where he held a number of senior roles with a focus on emerging markets.
During his time at Barclays, he has been Chief Executive Officer of Absa Capital, Barclays affiliate in South Africa, and Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Barclays Rates Businesses, based in London. He took on his current role in 2009.
John has a Bachelor of Sciences Degree Summa Cum Laude in Business Administration from Georgetown University, Washington DC.
