Tim Seeley
Head of Agribusiness 

Tim has worked for Barclays for 35 years. He has been Head of East Anglia for five years.
   
Tim also heads up the National Agribusiness Team in the UK, which has seen him develop the National Estates proposition and move corporate banking forward, providing an acknowledged and focused specialist service for customers in the agribusiness sector.

Mike Daniels
Managing Director, Head of Business Services

Mike has over 25 years’ client-facing experience in Corporate and Investment Banking.
He regularly hosts events for Business Services clients and liaises with relevant trade associations on an ongoing basis. Mike joined Barclays in January 2008.

Matt Tuck
Managing Director, Head of Global Financial Institutions

Matt started his banking career at Barclays in the mid- 1980s before moving to JP Morgan, ultimately running their European Corporate Trust Operations. He then moved to Citibank in the late 1990s following the sale of this business, moving to a sales role in escrow, project finance and cross-border M&A.

Prior to rejoining Barclays in 2011, Matt held positions at Deutsche Bank in Cash Management, Structured Finance and Global Debt, running teams in Europe and Asia.

Paul Birley
Head of Healthcare

Paul joined Barclays in 1981, moving into management six years later. In 2001, he helped set up our Healthcare Strategy and, since then, the business has more than quadrupled in size.
   
Paul was named HealthInvestor’s ‘Banker of the Year’ in 2010 and appeared in their ‘Power 50’ in 2011.

Mike Saul
Director, Head of Hospitality and Leisure

Mike is head of the Barclays UK-based Hospitality and Leisure Team. With over 30 years of experience, he and his team support a wide-ranging client base with their dedicated specialist approach, industry knowledge, and sector-specific products and services.

Mike Rigby
Head of Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics

Mike joined Barclays in 2008 as a Relationship Director on the Manufacturing team. After two years in the Bank he was offered a leadership role in the broader Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics team and in October 2012 was promoted to Head of Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics.

Mike heads up a team of sector specialist Relationship Directors in addition to having responsibility for the sector nationally within Corporate Banking.

Daniel Firth
Head of UK Multinationals and Natural Resources

Daniel has worked in various senior roles within Barclays for the past 25 years. He currently heads the London-based team of Relationship Directors responsible for managing the corporate banking relationships with our large UK-, Nordic- and Swiss-headquartered multi-national corporates and Natural Resources sector clients.

Andy Reid
Managing Director, Head of NBFI

As Head of the NBFI team, Andy manages the delivery of corporate banking products and services to clients across the Insurance, Funds, Private Equity and Broking sectors. Andy joined Barclays in 2007 from JPMorgan where he was Head of NBFI in EMEA for Treasury Services. Prior to his time at JPMorgan, Andy worked in Foreign Exchange at CLS Bank and HSBC, including a three-year period in North America.

He has a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and a MBA and DIC from Imperial College.

Carl Boulton
Managing Director, Head of Insurance

Carl joined Barclays in 2007, with a remit to build the Barclays reinsurance proposition both in London and Bermuda and also lead the insurance broking market. Having led the team through its strongest period of growth during 2008, he was subsequently promoted to Head of Insurance.

Carl is responsible for delivering a differentiated corporate banking proposition to the insurance market, supporting clients across Europe, North America and Bermuda. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge and over 20 years of banking experience.

Philip Bowkley
Managing Director, Head of Funds

Philip has been a key member of the NBFI leadership team since 2008, during which time he has maintained a focus on the structure and development of the Funds team to ensure our global clients have the required support to achieve business success – even against a backdrop of economic change.

Philip has significant experience across the NBFI sector specifically and the broader banking sector more generally – both within the UK and internationally.

Martin Roskott
Director, Head of Finance and Brokers

Martin is dedicated to ensuring our Finance and Brokers team meets the requirements of their clients, consistently reviewing the product and service propositions.

Prior to joining Barclays in February 2011, Martin spent 18 years at N M Rothschild & Sons Ltd with responsibility for bullion trading and money markets. He also spent 10 years at Moscow Narodny Bank Ltd in various roles including Group Treasurer and Head of Institutional Banking Division.

Tom Wood
Head of the Professional Services Industry

Tom’s industry team, which is based around the UK and in the US, works with firms to help define and implement strategies in what remains an evolving and challenging market place. Prior to his current role Tom spent 3 ½ years as Deputy Head of Professional Services including leading the mid-market proposition for Barclays in the sector.

Tom is a strong believer that personalised banking relationships are essential to understanding and aiding development of businesses.

Paul Birley
Head of Public Sector

Paul has over 30 years’ experience within the banking industry with Barclays. He helped set up our Healthcare strategy in 2001 and has headed up the Healthcare team since 2008. Paul has since taken on Education, Not-for-Profit, Local Authorities and Government and continues to take the team from strength to strength.

Gregor Bamert
Head of UK Real Estate

Gregor has responsibility for the national Real Estate coverage teams in Barclays. Previously he was responsible for investment banking coverage of real estate clients across Western Europe with a particular focus on cross-border clients, strategic acquisitions, structured financings and capital markets.

Gregor joined Barclays in 2001 following several years in strategy consultancy for financial institutions in London and New York.

Richard Lowe
Managing Director, Head of Retail and Wholesale

Richard has been in banking for three decades, specialising in UK and Ireland retail and wholesale for the past 13 years. He’s a regular commentator in national, regional and trade media and a member of the KPMG/IPSOS Retail Think Tank.

Sean Duffy
Managing Director, Head of Technology, Media and Telecoms

Sean has been at Barclays for more than 10 years and has spent most of his time in corporate banking. He leads the Technology, Media and Telecoms team for Barclays.

Sean graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Physics and a PhD in Mathematical Physics. On leaving academia he trained as an actuary before moving across to banking. Sean held a number of strategic and operational roles before he moved into corporate banking over 10 years ago.

Sean has spent his career at blue-chip companies, including Prudential and AON.
