Maurice Cleaves
Managing Director, Global Head of Cash Management and Co-Head of Product
Maurice joined Barclays in January 2011 from Deutsche Bank where he was responsible for the EMEA region Cash Management Product organisation, during which time he had responsibility for building and managing an EMEA proposition similar to the global proposition Corporate Banking is building.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Maurice was at JP Morgan Chase and predecessor organisations for 26 years, holding positions in Operations, Product and Business Management, Sales, Product Development, and Risk Management within the Cash Management, Securities Clearance and Corporate Trust businesses.
Maurice has also been a Director of SWIFT UK, CHAPS, APACS and the UK Payments Council.
Alan Turner
Managing Director, Global Head of Debt and Co-Head of Product
Alan joined Barclays in 1991 and has held a variety of roles. He currently leads the teams responsible for the delivery of debt within Corporate Banking at Barclays.
Prior to his transfer to Corporate Banking in 2010, he was responsible for the structuring of leveraged finance and high yield bonds in the UK and Europe. With a career spanning roles in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia, he has arranged transactions for over 100 issuers in 14 countries covering the entire spectrum of corporate activity.
Alan has an Honours Degree in Medieval and Modern History from University College London.
Sam Ford
Managing Director, Co-Head of Risk Solutions Group, Corporate Banking
Based in London, Sam has joint responsibility for delivering Barclays Risk Solution products across FX, Rates and Commodities to clients globally.
Prior to taking up his current position, he was Head of UK Mid-Market Risk Solutions. Sam joined Barclays in 2007 from RBS where during a 19-year career he was responsible for the development of RBS’s cross-product structuring business and more recently coverage of key financial institution relationships.
He graduated with a degree in Engineering, Economics & Management from Oxford University.
Tan Kah Chye
Managing Director, Global Head of Trade & Working Capital
Based out of London, Tan Kah Chye is responsible for the development and delivery of trade finance and short term lending solutions to clients via Barclays global network.
With over 20 years of working experience, he has held roles with Deutsche, JP Morgan Chase and Citibank. Prior to joining Barclays in 2011, he spent six years at Standard Chartered Bank as the Global Head of Corporate Trade and Cash. In September 2010, he was appointed Chairman of the ICC Banking Commission. He is also a member of the ICC Finance and the WTO Trade Expert Committees.
Kah Chye holds an undergraduate degree and an MBA from Dalhousie University in Canada.
