A trusted partner in the South West
- University of Bristol – the University of Bristol has been a client of Barclays for the past 19 years. Over this period Barclays has been the primary lender and provider of interest rate hedging to the University. Due to our long-standing relationship the University approached Barclays to provide £250m of funding for a ten-year campus redevelopment programme, including both academic and residential buildings
Meet our South West regional team
Gavin has been Managing Director for the Southern and South West regions since July 2010, working with our Relationship Directors across the area. He previously worked in a number of corporate banking roles, including developing strategy for the Technology and Telecoms sector team. Over this time Barclays market share increased by 40% across these sectors. Gavin is married with two teenage daughters, is a keen walker and rugby supporter.
