- PZ Cussons – a FTSE 250 listed consumer products group, PZ Cussons has had a banking relationship with Barclays for over 125 years, moving their main banking facilities over to us in 2002. Working as part of a three-bank syndicate we have delivered a £135m refinancing deal, incorporating PZ Cussons’ existing debt and providing additional funding to support their growth plans
- Holidaybreak Ltd – an education, leisure and activity group, Holidaybreak Ltd is the market leader in the UK and is gaining market share across other European markets, including Germany and the Netherlands. The company has a strong relationship with Barclays and we have recently provided a £230m, three-year financing facility as part of a five-bank syndicate
- R&R Ice Cream – manufacturer and seller of private label and branded ice cream across the UK and Europe. R&R have a long-standing relationship with Barclays and we are their lead banking partner in the UK. Barclays provided working capital funding and in 2010 acted as book runner and ratings advisor for R&R’s €350m offering of 7-year secured notes, helping support their ambitious international growth plans
Meet our Northern regional team
Tony has been with Barclays for over 29 years, working in risk management, portfolio planning, operations management, sales management and strategy planning across the UK, before going back to his roots in the North.
He has been Managing Director for the Northern region since 2008 and now leads a team of relationship directors and product specialists covering Yorkshire, the North East and the North West, supporting the growth aspirations of businesses across the region.
